The left-back played 78 minutes against Inter in the Pasadena Rose Bowl to follow up the 45 he played against the Seattle Sounders on Saturday, and was feeling fit enough to speak with chelseafc.com after the game, which ended in a comfortable 2-0 win. 'I feel good, I think we have worked hard so far and a lot of the lads feel fit now,' he smiled. 'We just need to get a bit of sharpness back, but today we played well as a team and showed we can beat the good teams, which hopefully we can do at the start of the season in England.'
