http://www.chelseafc.com/news/pat-nevin-getting-away-with-it-20090818_2243 335_1758952 PAT NEVIN: GETTING AWAY WITH IT Posted on: Tue 18 Aug 2009 Didier Drogba has inspired Pat Nevin to turn this week's column into a confessional. ------------------------ 德羅巴最近接受了一個專欄的專訪，你們經常會聽到英國的媒體說道在這個島上他們有比世界各地其他地區更多的閉路電視轉播機位。看起來正因為是這樣他們更容易看到一些負面的消息，比如說更容易發現一些暴力事件等新聞。現在的問題是，我們的情況就真的是那麼的糟糕嗎？比如說我們想想以前的那些足球員，實際上我想我們現在的情況也沒有那麼的糟糕。他們確實是需要更高層次的監督，但是這項工作並不能單單依靠狗仔隊來完成，其實每一個人都可以通過手機在公眾場合來記錄下這些球員們的言行，而更重要的是，在比賽中有很多電視攝像機都可以在近距離來記錄球員們在球場上的行為。雖然現在的比賽基本都是在聚光燈下，但是以前可並不是這樣，比如說在過去只有一個攝像機的鏡頭機位，甚至沒有電視轉播，而之前斯坦福橋的貝茨總是抱怨電視公司不能夠拿出足夠多的錢來支付轉播費用。在過去的那些日子裡，一名後衛有完全的自信可以在場地上吐痰而不被發現，甚至還可以在轉播中做出一些挖鼻孔等有傷大雅的動作。在比賽的時候也完全可以用一些小動作來欺騙觀眾和裁判而不被電視發現。不過現在不同了，電視轉播可以清楚的記錄每一個人在場地上都幹了些什麼，甚至連球員們是否有一些應該吃牌的動作躲過了裁判的判罰觀眾都能夠看清楚，比如說一些肘擊什麼的。但是這些並沒有讓隊員們在場上停止那些小動作，不過他要面臨的是很多人都能夠通過電視機的4個超慢的鏡頭回放來看到他們在場上的那些動作，如果想靠一些小聰明來躲過觀眾的眼睛幾乎是不可能的了。德羅巴在對陣赫爾城的比賽中在傷停補時階段打進了一個非常漂亮的進球，當時整個球場都沸騰了。對於一雙沒受過專業訓練的眼睛來說想完全捕捉到這個進球的畫面基本上是不可能的，但是電視轉播技術可以幫助我們重新看到這一畫面，攝像機的鏡頭可以從任何角度來重放這一畫面，甚至能夠發現他是用自己的較弱的腳來完成的這次射門。 Actually that last comment about his left foot was when I began to suspect. All around me people were saying it was a moment of genius and so it would have remained in their minds forever except for two things, first the cameras in slow motion would prove it was at least as much luck as judgment and secondly I told them all right away I thought it was a fluke. You see I have been there before, the difference is that I got away with it. Playing for Scotland against Estonia John Collins put me through on the left hand side. Pat for Scotland It was also a complete mistake on my part, I meant to cross it to the back post for our centre forward who was waiting there to nod it in. Afterwards in the press conference, I didn't exactly lie, I just replied 'thank you' when the waiting journos said they thought it was a great goal. With more cameras, our Didier was never going to get away with it at the weekend, but I felt first of all bad for him not being able to take the credit, then I was proud of him for owning up immediately to his good fortune in the interviews. Well done, it was a heartening instance of complete honesty in the game even if it did remove a little bit of the magic of the moment. It also made me feel guilty for not owning up all those years ago to my own 'jammy' goal. Well I am owning up now and I feel much better about it.
