Hill went down with the injury after going up for a rebound during the third quarter. He did not return to play, though he remained on the bench through the remainder of the game. After the game he told media the ankle sprain is "no big deal" though it was a little sore. He does not expect the injury will force him to miss any time. The Lakers next play the Portland Trail Blazers at home Sunday after a three-game road trip. The injury doesn't sound serious, but it's worth keeping an eye on. Hill has missed large chunks of time in each of his two seasons with the Lakers, raising doubts about his durability over large minute-loads. Hill has started in nine games for the Lakers. He is averaging 9.7 points per game and 8.6 rebounds per game, providing the Lakers with a strong dive man in the pick-and-roll as well as elite rebounding.
