http://gossip.ladyarse.com/2012/08/29/maradona-wanted-to-play-for-arsenal 其實這是半個月前的舊聞了不過看沒人提到就貼上來最近有人挖出一張舊新聞的剪報如圖 http://twitpic.com/7nxbgz/full 當時是1982年老馬22歲文章內容如下： Diego Maradona, the ￡4million Argentina superstar admitted last night: “ I want to play for Arsenal.” 馬拉度納，這位價值4M英鎊的阿根廷超級明星昨晚承認：「我想要加入阿森納。」 Maradona, who is reported to earn a staggering ￡7,500 a week with Boca Juniors, broke his silence on a possible move to Highbury which had been set up by former Luton and Sheffield United manager Harry Haslam. 這位在博卡青年週薪七千五百英鎊的球員，打破沈默談論起前進海布理的可能性。阿森納在南美洲的球探Harry Haslam準備要引進他。 Haslam has been acting as an Arsenal spy in South America but as he travelled back to London with his report, the Football League vowed to block any move by Arsenal to bring Maradona to England. 但當Harry Haslam回倫敦報告此事，足聯卻阻止阿森納將馬拉度納帶來英格蘭。 League secretary, Graham Kelly, confirmed that the Management Committee don’t want foreign players from outside the EEC granted a work permit for two years. 足聯聲明是因為工作證問題，他們不想給非歐洲球員兩年工作許可。我不是很清楚那時候的工作證是怎麼發的不過1982年英國跟阿根廷剛好爆發了福島戰爭時機敏感啊... 不曉得是不是因為政治因素讓阿森納錯過了一代巨星呢？如果他當時真的來整部足球史說不定要重寫了吧～ * 不過馬拉度納雖然沒來他一直都是槍迷 XD 2004年他接受了採訪：http://tinyurl.com/945n27j And Argentina's World Cup-winning skipper added: "I do like Arsenal a lot, they're the best in Europe.
