小牛作客 Boston的賽後記者會上小將軍說 Re: Dirk’s play: “He’s been playing tough all year, and its happened so much retaliating when somebody push you and you push them back. It’s getting to free throw line, driving to the basket, its posting up, it’s playing defense. He had some really nice defense on Tayshaun Prince and Rasheed Wallace the other night, but he doesn’t get any credit for his defense. He rebounds the ball, and not just the rebounds that come to you. He gets what we call dirty rebounds, when people are climbing over your’ back. So that’s what I like about his toughness this year.” 看到這一段不曉得為什麼就是很感動然後有一種心有戚戚焉的感覺這就是我這一季目前為止對 Dirk的大致看法阿他一向被人詬病的防守現在則是成為有時還不錯不過還是希望 Dirk防守能持續進步然後可以穩定一點就行啦 ^^ 另外這場球賽的轉播阿忘了是主播還球評在比賽進行中把 Dirk 跟大鳥拿來比較關於這點 Dirk的回答是 “I would not say all that. Larry is a legend. He is one of the best players to ever play the game. I just love to watch how smart he plays. The thing that I like most about Larry’s game was his passing. That is an area where I would like to get better and learn from him if I can.
