Devin Mesoraco was removed from Friday's game against the Braves with an
apparent hamstring injury
Advice: Mesoraco sustained the injury when he tripped while rounding the
bases. He appeared to be in a significant amount of pain as he left the
field. Bryan Pena took over behind the plate for the Reds and should be in
line for increased work should Mesoraco require a trip to the disabled list.

Chris Davis was removed in the fifth inning of Friday's game against the
Royals with a strained left oblique.
Advice: The Orioles have yet to provide an estimated timeline for his
recovery, simply stating that he'll be evaluated further. As with most
oblique strains, a stint on the disabled list looks likely.
