West Ham secure Davenport switch
West Ham have signed central defender Calum Davenport from fellow Premiership
club Tottenham for an undisclosed fee.
Hammers boss Alan Curbishley has moved to bolster his defence as he tries to
steer the club out of the top-flight relegation zone.
The 24-year-old joined Spurs from Coventry in August 2004 but has struggled
for regular first-team football at White Hart Lane.
He has agreed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Upton Park outfit.
Davenport went on loan to West Ham, who were then in the Championship,
immediately after his move to Spurs and spent two months with the club.
He was also loaned out to Southampton and Norwich to gain first-team football
experience last season before starting the present campaign as part of the
Tottenham team.
But Davenport found himself dropped after the return of Ledley King, who
formed a promising partnership with Michael Dawson.
And, even though he has recently again replaced the injured King, Spurs have
decided to let him go.

他和Hammer簽下三年半的合約 也就是到2010年球季結束
Davenport在Hammer還在英冠的時候曾經租借兩個月給他們
也租借給Southampton ,Norwich增加一隊經驗
現在King回來了 他又要失去一隊的位置 所以我們決定放他走
祝他在Hammer能成功!!

哎呀呀 太刺激了吧 雖然他被譙的半死 他先發還沒有沒失分過
但是現在手上只有受傷的King + Dawson ,拖時間很好用的Gardner而已...
換個角度想Rocha ,Ayala ,Wes Brown ,Heinze其中一個人已經簽到了
恩 一定是不然太歡樂了 \O/
