Juande Ramos conceded that we should have wrapped up victory in Saturday's FA Cup tie long before Reading hit back to earn a replay. Robbie Keane missed from close range before Reading took the lead after 25 minutes when Paul Robinson's momentum as he back-tracked to collect Stephen Hunt's free-kick inadvertently took him over his own goal-line, the linesman signalling a goal. Dimitar Berbatov found the top corner to level within two minutes and Jermaine Jenas was then thwarted twice in one-on-one situations by Reading goalkeeper Adam Federici. Keane was then upended by Liam Rosenior for Berbatov to double his tally from the penalty spot and put us into a 2-1 lead after 49 minutes. Berbatov couldn't convert Aaron Lennon's low cross from inside the six-yard box and those missed chances ultimately proved costly when Hunt reacted first to Robinson's save from Leroy Lita to make it 2-2. "Obviously we had very clear chances to win the game, especially in the first half, and we've come away with a draw," reflected Juande. "I don't think a draw was a fair result because we've done enough to win this game." Faced with questions in his post-match briefing, Juande refused to blame Robinson for what was a bizarre opener. "In football, the team lets in goals," he said. "Sometimes one player is responsible but at the end of the day the goal is conceded by Tottenham. "We've got a squad of 20-odd players and we have to look how all of them play and use the best players. "Some have good matches, some not so good and we have to look for solutions to produce the best performance we can.
