Nakamura in friendly row By Peter ORourke - Created on 2 Nov 2005 Celtic midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura is set to spark a club-versus-country row. Nakamura is set to play for Japan in a friendly against Angola later this month just three days before the Old Firm clash with Rangers. The talented midfielder has been called up for the clash in Tokyo and Bhoys boss Gordon Strachan is unhappy with the timing of the game with Rangers set to visit Parkhead on November 19. Japanese Football Association president Saburo Kawabuchi fully expects Nakamura to play for his country even if it is against the wishes of Strachan. "All the European-based players have told us they want to come and play in the friendly against Angola," Kawabuchi told the Scottish Express. "Our preparations for the World Cup are coming along really well and our midfield players, especially Shunsuke Nakamura, all look fit and sharp now. "It is important we keep that going and although some of the European clubs have asked for their players to be left out we feel that we need to call up our strongest available squad for this game.
