I was thinking about returning last week, but together with the medical team and the coach we decided to delay my comeback for another seven days. Yesterday I trained with the squad for the first time and it went without a hitch, so I'm thinking I'll almost certainly be available for Friday”. David Trezeguet is ready to return. Over his muscular problems and raring to go despite a lengthy period on the sidelines, the French goal-machine already feels up to a full ninety minutes. “One of the reasons I chose to work an extra week was so I'd be available right from the start, I wanted to come back 100% fit for all ninety minutes. Goals are secondary just because I know that if the team's playing in a certain way, my job is that much easier. What's most important is that after a little drop in form, we're getting back to our best and this is an extra motivation for me. We're looking to play our best football: we've won most of our games, but we also want to do things in style. Serie B is a difficult championship with defensive teams and a modest technical level, so it's up to us to play attractive football.
