Ranieri: “Curious about my Juve”
After all the training, and two matches against Mezzocorona and the Chinese
Olympic team, now it's time for Claudio Ranieri's Juventus to get serious.
The players are ready to travel to England and Germany, where they'll face
three top quality teams: Newcastle Utd, Hamburg and Sunderland. Three tests
that the Manager is anticipating with interest: “I'm curious to see how
we fare against teams that are ready to start the season. They'll give us
a hard time, but it's what I want. I need to see how we're doing, and how
the players help each other on the pitch. They'll be good, demanding games,
where the teams fight 'til the last minute. In our first two outings
we only had one shot against us in the whole 180 minutes, these matches
against lower teams don't make the team grow, I prefer us getting
some flak if it makes the players understand what they're doing wrong”.
經過這些訓練與兩場熱身賽後，Juventus 將遠征英格蘭與德國，
在那裡將對上 Newcastle、Hamburg、Sunderland，三場 Ranieri 期待已久的比賽：
「我很好奇我們遭遇那些作好開季準備的球隊會有什麼進作為，
他們將給我們帶來困境，不過這正是我想要的，我需要看到我們的進展，
還有球員們如何在賽場上幫助彼此；他們都是良好且高要求的比賽，
這些球隊會戰至最後一刻，在我們的前兩場比賽，１８０分鐘只碰上一次射門，
跟低級別的球隊交手無法讓我們成長，我傾向於讓球隊接受一些砲火，
這能讓球員們瞭解自己哪裡做錯了。」
These three fascinating matches and nine more days of training will help
improve the team's spirit even more. Which is just what Ranieri wants:
“We have to do a lot to fill the gap with our rivals. They're already
proper teams, with a solid relationship between players and Manager,
we don't have that yet. The quicker we build it the sooner we'll be ready.
Juventus already have that spirit of never giving up,
of being extremely competitive, it's part of their DNA. I want to see how
we help each other on a tactical level, and how well the old guard and
the newcomers interact. Until now I've found everyone to be very cooperative,
from the players who've won a lot, to the youngsters and the newcomers.
They're all great guys”.
接連三場比賽與九天的訓練將使球隊的精神更加改善，
Ranieri 說：「我們必須大量付出以填補與對手之間的差距，
他們已是完備的球隊，球員與主教練間有穩固的關係，
而我們還沒有，越早建立起這層關係我們就能越早作好準備，
Juventus 已擁有永不放棄、極度好戰的精神，這是我們ＤＮＡ的一部份，
我想看到球隊在戰術上給予彼此協助，還有舊員與新兵間的互動，
到目前為止，我發現所有人都非常合作，從已經贏得許多的球員到年輕人還有新援，
他們全是了不起的人物。」
The group leaves for Newcastle (where they'll stay for the entire period,
apart from the trip to Hamburg) with the idea of improving every single
player's fitness level. Ranieri has devised a method to achieve this:
“I'll try to rotate players so that everyone gets to play 90 minutes.
Del Piero isn't at the others' level yet, I'll talk to him and we'll try
to get him up there. We have several matches before the 26th of August,
his condition will surely improve. Camoranesi is feeling better,
I'll decide with him and the doctor before each match.
Legrottaglie is coming with us, and I'm happy to keep him.
Up front we're fine. Trezeguet and Iaquinta can easily play together,
they're compatible. Palladino has great skill;
he only needs to become more practical”.
球員方面：「我會嘗試輪替，好讓每個人都能踢上九十分鐘；
Del Piero 還沒達到其他人的水平，我會跟他談，努力讓他趕上進度，
在八月二十六日之前我們還有不少比賽，他的狀態肯定會改善；
Camoranesi 感覺好多了，我會跟他還有隊依在每場比賽前一起決定，
Legrottaglie 也會跟隨行，我很高興能留住他；
鋒線上我們很好，Trezeguet、Iaquinta 確實可以搭檔，他們能夠共容，
Palladino 技術出眾，他只需要變得更注重實效。」

在上一次夏訓大名單與官網一軍陣容中，卻沒進入此次名單的有三人，
Giannichedda，已在《Juventus Channel》訪談表明將中止合約，未獲官方證實，
Olivera，對中國國奧隊替補上場貢獻一次助攻，
Zalayeta，前兩場熱身賽都沒參加。
倒是聽說會去土耳其的 Legrottaglie 隨隊，Ranieri 還特別點名，
看來後防線局勢有變，英格蘭方面 Chiellini 轉會 Man City 的消息沒停過，
連《BBC SPORT》都報了讓我有點擔心，Heinze 的消息也隨之再次浮上檯面，
這次的英德之行背後的轉會戰可能會比熱身賽更激烈，
畢竟 Hamburg 有個當初在 Ajax 就傳過的ＶＤＶ，Zlatan 也不在了。
或許ＶＤＶ有興趣轉戰義大利好跟 Zlatan 來個正面對決？
