The ghost of Xabi Alonso is haunting the Juventus dressing room but,
as Serafino Ingardia explains, Christian Poulsen just needs more time
Xabi Alonso 的傳聞仍在我們更衣室陰魂不散，不過本文專家解釋：
Christian Poulsen 只需要多一點時間。
It's easy to pick on the last player in when things go wrong and
that is what's happening at Juventus nowadays. The Bianconeri have
recently struggled which has seen fans and pundits find one player
to blame – Christian Poulsen. But is the Dane solely responsible
for the club's problems?
一切不對勁的時候找最後加盟的人碴很簡單，這正是 JUVE 目前發生的事，
最近打得掙扎，球迷跟評論都找上 Christian Poulsen 來責怪，
不過他真是惟一要對球會的問題負責的人嗎？
We all read the stories that Xabi Alonso was inches away from a Turin
switch this summer and I was one of the first to welcome such a move.
After all, the Spaniard would have been perfect for the Old Lady.
Why? Simply because he is a playmaker – something Juve don't have –
he has played with Momo Sissoko before, he is a world-class midfielder
and the ￡12m transfer fee didn't sound too hefty to me.
我們都看過今夏 Xabi Alonso 只差幾吋就在都靈達陣的傳聞，
我是前幾個拍手贊成這項轉會的人之一，畢竟這西班牙人會是 JUVE 的完美選擇，
為什麼？就單純因為他是個組織者，JUVE 就缺這個，他又跟 Sissoko 共事過，
這是一個世界級的中場球員，１２Ｍ英鎊的轉會費對我來說不算太高。
With that in mind Juventus thought that signing the Danish pit-bull
would have been more appropriate instead. The 28-year-old,
coming towards the end of his contract, caught the Bianconeri eye
and made them deliver a ￡7m cheque to Sevilla.
儘管如此，JUVE 仍認為簽下丹麥人比較合適，２８歲的合約年，
這點吸引了 JUVE 的目光，用７Ｍ英鎊把 Poulsen 從 Sevilla 帶來。
“Xabi Alonso was too slow,” said Claudio Ranieri recently.
The Liverpool player noted: “They preferred Poulsen to me,
but this is football. I would have liked to play for the Old Lady.”
End of story? Perhaps not.
最近 Ranieri 說：「Xabi Alonso 太慢了。」，Xabi Alonso 則說：
「他們偏好 Poulsen 而不是我，不過這就是足球，我會很樂意效力 JUVE 的。」
所以故事結束了嗎？搞不好還沒噢。
Poulsen is a similar player to Sissoko and I agree with President
Giovanni Cobolli Gigli when he says that the fans will appreciate
him one day. But, like Momo, tactically Christian lacks something
which would have been provided by Alonso.
Poulsen 是位跟 Sissoko 相似的球員，
當主席表示球迷有天會感謝他的時候我同意，
不過就像 Sissoko 一樣，Poulsen 也缺乏某些 Alonso 所能提供的東西。
Apart from that the Danish midfielder is the perfect prototype of a gregario,
a fighter who never gives up and Juve should wait for him because
the good days will come. The fact that he has yet to prove all his worth
gives no right to Alessio Secco & Co to flirt with Barcelona's Yaya Tourè,
who is after all another tireless midfielder.
且不談丹麥人是個團隊球員的完美典型，一個永不放棄的鬥士，JUVE 都應該等他，
因為好時光總會到來，事實上在他還沒證明自己全部的價值之前，
Secco 一夥人就沒權利去跟 Yaya Toure 擾亂一池春水，
畢竟後者到頭來又是另一個不知疲憊的中場而已。
There is no time to cry over spilt milk at this stage of the season.
If Juve went for Poulsen this summer they have to stick with him now.
If Ranieri finally understands he needs a playmaker to make this team
work then he can just go back to Xabi Alonso and ask for forgiveness.
Better late than never.
在賽季的這階段已經沒時間去後悔千金難買早知道１２Ｍ就該買 Aloson 了，
如果 JUVE 今夏選擇 Poulsen 現在就必須靠他撐過去，
假使 Ranieri 終於瞭解自己需要一個組織者來讓求隊運作，
那他可以再回去找 Xabi Alonso 請求他的原諒，遲來總比不來好。
