When the NBA television schedule was announced before the season, the Kings
had one nationally televised game.
當球季開始前，國王只有一場轉播。
And it was early in the season, Nov. 8, against the Golden State Warriors.
Kings coach Paul Westphal didn't seem bothered by the notion that the nation
would not see the Kings. He figured that wouldn't be an issue if the Kings
played well.

The issue fixed itself with the Kings' surprising start, as they landed their
second nationally televised game since Nov. 9, 2007 when they hosted the
Washington Wizards at Arco Arena on Wednesday.

The game aired on ESPN. Westphal acknowledged a good showing in front of a
good crowd would mean something to the team.

"It's a big night for us," Westphal said before the game. "We really want to
play well."

The $1 beer promotion led to long concession lines and an announced crowd of

Being on national television also meant the NBA on ESPN RV was at Arco for
the first time. It's the same RV that has been featured in television ads the
past three seasons.

The RV was available for three hours before tipoff for fans to tour,
participate in shooting contests and test their vertical leaps.

Derek Schmalz, the RV tour manager, said a crew of four would make each stop
on the RV's 20-plus-city tour.
He said by the end of the month, the RV will have logged more than 100,000
miles in its travels to NBA games.

Since the Kings hadn't been on national TV for so long, the crew hadn't been
to Arco.

"We've been to Oakland," Schmalz said. "So far it's been good in Sacramento
and we're enjoying ourselves."

Progressing fine – Injured Kings swingman Francisco García had an X-ray on
his broken right forearm Wednesday.

"I shook hands with (García) and everything so that's good," Westphal said.
"Didn't hurt, he said."

García was injured in a weightlifting accident Oct. 9. In addition to the
break, he suffered significant ligament damage that required surgery.
"He's still in the rehab process," Westphal said. "We'll see how that goes."
New lineup – Rookie forward Omri Casspi started his first NBA game Wednesday
night.

He started up front with Andres Nocioni with Jason Thompson moving to center.
The odd-man out of the starting lineup was Spencer Hawes.
Westphal said it was based on the match-up against Antawn Jamison.
西佛說這是為了對付Jamison。
Hawes began the season as a reserve before being inserted to the starting
lineup after four games. Hawes checked in with 3:49 left in the third quarter.
