But it was big enough to make you realize this -- DeMarcus Cousins could be a beast in the NBA. He is a big man in a world of big men, but he has touch and feel. 夏季聯盟是個小樣本，但是足夠讓你知道，表弟是頭野獸。他是長人中的統治者，而且對比賽很有感覺。 Cousins finished with 14 points and 10 boards, showed great footwork, was strong on the block, worked hard on defense most of the time, had good moves and even a face-up game not seen at Kentucky this year. 他今天拿下14分10籃板在低位腳步、火鍋，防守、還有移動力跟面框上都有比在Kentucky更為讓人驚訝的演出。 "I was very nervous in the beginning, I really didn't know what to expect, I didn't know how I would manage through the game," Cousins said. "But it came pretty easy." 表弟說：「我一開場很緊張，我不知道自己能做到哪，我忘記怎麼打球」表弟補充到「可是後來感覺來了一切就順多了。」 He didn't look nervous, he looked like a guy having fun. Talking trash to Edgar Sosa. Getting out and running. Making the right play -- he got doubled on the block early and he make the right pass out of the double to the shooter multiple times. He's a gifted passer, and the fact he was a big man who passed out of the block at Summer League alone made him stand out. 他看起來一點都不像緊張，還跑去跟對手Edgar Sosa講垃圾話，上場並奔跑。在進攻時間24秒剛開始時他被包夾，但是他好幾次都傳出了正確的傳球破解包夾。他是個天才的傳球者，大概也是唯一一個夏季聯盟在火鍋封蓋下傳球還能如此漂亮的長人，讓他更顯的特別。 At a couple times, he was having too much fun. 他也是個孩子王。 "He forced it a couple times, he tried to dribble it up the court, but, give it to your point guard DeMarcus and get your big butt down on the box," said Sacramento Summer League coach Mario Elie. Elie說「　表弟很喜歡展現運球技巧，但是我還是要說，拜託你不是PG請讓專業的來，然後移動你的大屁股去卡位。」 Cousins even tried to show off his mid-range game for Elie. And he's not the outside shooter Elie was (who is?) but he hit shots doing it. Cousins' jumper release is a little low and the follow through needs to be better (or exist) but if he's close now he could be good enough to really make you respect him outside the paint. 他還想表現給教練看他會投中距離，但是他不是Elie那樣的射手　(誰比的上呢？) 他的投籃姿勢出手點有點低而且不太順暢，但是現有程度已經足夠讓對手產生三分敬意。 "I've had (and outside shot), but coach Cal didn't need me to do that at UK, now I just go do what I do," Cousins said. 表弟說：「大學教練認為我不需要投籃，現在我只是把我以前就會但是沒機會用的東西拿出來用。」 It was easy to picture the Sacramento offense next season: Tyreke Evans coming off the high Cousins pick. It's going to be brutal to stop.
