"I'm not just saying this because he's my brother, but he's one of the best guys in camp right now. He's outplaying me, and that's saying a lot. That would appear to make him a throw-in player, just an extra body for practices. But his play has dictated otherwise. And at 6-foot-7, 230 pounds, he was the top rebounder after the stats were tallied from Thursday night's practice. 弟弟可以打到 sg,sf,pf 三個位置他甚至有時練習時籃板可以抓全隊最多。 Carl worked out with Marucs and other NBA players this summer. "Ever since I've been little, I've been trying to do everything better than (Carl)," Marcus said. "He's at a level now (that) I'm trying to get to and be better than that. He's just been a great example to me. There's no other person I can look up to right now but him. He's never been in trouble. He doesn't have a bad reputation at all.
