But backup big man Ryan Hollins played a significant role in the Mavs' win over the Magic. With Erick Dampier also in foul trouble -- Dwight Howard (35 points) was an absolute beast -- Hollins had to play seven minutes in the third quarter. That's when the Mavs seized control of the game, outscoring the Magic by 13 points. Hollins' energy gave the Mavs a spark. He relentlessly ran the floor with his fresh legs, which appeared to bother Howard, who had been banging with the 265-pound Dampier most of the night. Hollins finished one fast break with a dunk and started another with a blocked shot. And he held Howard scoreless for that seven-minute span. The Mavs' three best players -- Dirk (29 points), Jason Terry (23 points) and Jason Kidd (13 points, eight assists) -- were the headliners in the win.
