The charges surround domestic violence and a mandatory restraining order was issued, according to court records. Lawson appeared in Arapahoe County court Monday to be arraigned on the charges, according to court documents. He is free on a $1,000 bond, according to court records. Lawson said Monday on Twitter that reports of his arraignment are "20 day old fish." Phone calls to Lawson's attorney have yet to be returned. In a statement, the Nuggets said: "We are fully aware of an incident involving Ty Lawson over the weekend. Per team policy and out of respect for the legal process, we will have no further comment at this time." Wilson Chandler, Lawson's teammate with the Nuggets, said Monday night on Twitter: "Young Ty trying to get that street cred up lol." Then Chandler added: "All jokes, that story is suspect.
