Billups exits early due to sprained ankle
Chauncey Billups sat out the second half of Tuesday's game against the Spurs
after spraining his right ankle during the second quarter.
The injury didn't appear to be serious, as Billups returned to the game
immediately after a Nuggets timeout before sitting out the second half. It's
possible that the team opted to hold him out as a precaution, assuming that a
win was in hand with Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker and Tim Duncan not playing.
Consider Billups day-to-day for now, and we'll post an update on his status
for Wednesday as soon as we know more.
