Currently ranked No.14 in the world, the 22-year-old former No.1 was the 2001 and 2003 Stanford champion and the 2003 Los Angeles winner, and also brings with her strong results from the spring hardcourt season earlier this year, winning back-to-back Tier I titles at Indian Wells and Miami. Her 34-5 record this year also includes a title run at Eastbourne and a semifinal finish at Warsaw. Last year, Clijsters missed the entire summer season to rehabilitate the aforementioned wrist injury. Justine Henin-Hardenne (BEL) Scheduled to play at Toronto After making her return from illness and injury in March with a quarterfinal finish at Miami, 23-year-old Justine Henin-Hardenne took the Tour by storm all over again during the clay court season, winning 24 straight matches and claiming titles at Charleston, Warsaw, Berlin and Roland Garros, which was her fourth career Grand Slam singles title. Also a former world No.1, Henin- Hardenne had a stellar summer hardcourt swing in 2003, winning at San Diego and Toronto.
