Last time I wrote to you all was after my Wimbledon win earlier this summer. I know it was a couple of days after but I made it … so here I am again, excited and happy to write this blog. It kind of brings me good luck, but the most important thing is that it allows me to communicate directly with all of you and tell you what I think, what I feel. 我又再一次來寫這個部落格，這次是從紐約。上一次我寫給你們大家是在我早前夏天時贏得溫網過後。我知道是溫網後幾天，但我完成了...所以我又來了，帶著興奮跟開心的來寫這個部落格。它帶給我一些好運，但最重要的是它讓我能直接跟你們溝通，並且告訴你們我的想法跟感覺。 Let me start by saying that I got here to NY 10 days ago. I came straight from Cincinnati after I lost in the quarter finals against Baghdatis. Since then I have been practicing as much as I could here in NY. I say that since it rained a lot the week previous to the event. However I got in good practice time and I feel ready. 讓我從告訴你們我十天前抵達紐約開始。我在辛辛那提QF輸給Baghdatis之後就直接來到紐約。從那之後，我持續盡可能地多練習。雖然在美網前一週下了不少雨，然而我的練習狀況不錯，而且我覺得我準備好了。 Many thanks to all and hope to be writing this blog for the next 2 weeks!!!! 非常感謝大家，希望未來兩週我都能來寫這個部落格。 Rafa ＃2 Thursday 2nd September 2010 Some like it hot ... just not this hot Rafael Nadal 有些人喜歡熱...不是像這麼熱 Rafael Nadal Hello everybody, 大家好 It is really hot in New York City. It might sound strange from some one like me, from Mallorca, used to the sun, but it really is. These last three days have been horrible and I have to say that to play during the day it must have been tough. I practiced today and warm up yesterday when the sun was out and wow, it was hot. 紐約的天氣真的很熱。從像我這樣來自馬洛卡的人聽到這種話也許有點怪，在馬洛卡習慣了陽光，但天氣真的很熱。過去三天的天氣實在很恐怖，而且我必須說，這幾天在這天氣下比賽實在很辛苦。我今天的練習跟昨天的熱身都是在大太陽下，哇，好熱。 I played yesterday at night so that’s not that bad. Tomorrow, Friday I am also playing at night apparently so that’s better for the heat although it is announced that we might have a hurricane coming!!! Hopefully not. I remember a couple of years ago and it was a mess with scheduling. I think that's one of the worst things in tennis: the rain! 我昨天是在晚上比賽，所以沒有那麼糟糕。明天是星期五，我也是在晚上比賽，所以對於這炎熱天氣顯然好多了，雖然我們接到通知可能有颶風要來!!!希望不要。我記得幾年前因此賽程大亂。我想那是對網球最糟糕的事情之一：下雨! Anyway, I am practicing early at 10.45 so I suppose it is not as bad as at 3 or 4 pm! You might wonder at what time I leave the hotel? Well with the NY traffic you'd better be careful. It is strange. 大家好，我要先說今天的練習太糟糕了，而且一點也不開心。真是奇怪。 I really started well, the first 45 minutes but when I played I didn’t do well. We play this game called 11, and that is a tie-break to 11 but with no serve. You just put the ball in play. I lost every single one. 我剛開始的45分鐘滿好的，但當我開始比賽，我打得並不好。我們比的比賽是叫做11，是tiebreak搶11分，但沒有發球。就是直接開始打球。而我失掉每一分。 So I was really upset and decided to stop and think about what’s going on. Here we are on the second week of the US Open. This is very important. The second week of the grand slam is that kind of strange good feeling. The players’ lounge is not anymore packed and the locker room is also very quite. As I say strange feeling but good since you are at those stages where the final weekend gets closer. 顯然寫這個部落格帶給我好運。我們已經進入美網第二週。這是非常重要的。在大滿貫的第二週有一種奇怪的好感覺。球員休息室不再是擠滿人，而更衣室也非常安靜。我說奇怪卻感覺是好的，因為最終週末舞台越來越近了。 Today I am hitting at noon and then take it very easy until tomorrow. Back to the hotel after practice maybe I go for lunch in the city and simply rest in my room watching a movie. 今天中午我要打球，之後到明天以前就是放輕鬆。練習之後回到飯店後也許我會到市區用午餐，然後在房間裡看電影跟休息。 I actually found a great website where I can pay an annual fee and download (legally obviously) all the movies I want. So that is good. 事實上我發現一個很棒的網站，我可以付年費然後下載(當然是合法的)所有我想看的電影。所以很不錯。 And I am sure most of you want a thought from me on Andy’s defeat yesterday. It was a surprise since he is one of the favourites to win here. I didn’t see much of the match, only the end of it in the locker room. I am sure that he will win sooner than later a slam. Actually before I order room service since I don’t think I am going out for lunch today. I did yesterday, after I practised and came back to the city. But the day of the match I prefer to stay quiet and relaxed, eat in my room, watch a movie, have a look at the internet, read all the papers and wait for the time to go to the site. 吃午餐前回到這裡寫篇短的文章。事實上，我不認為我今天會外出用餐，所以我剛叫了客房服務。我昨天有出去，在我練習結束之後，回到這裡到市區吃了午餐。但比賽日我比較喜歡安靜並輕鬆地待著，在房裡用餐，看看電影，逛一下網路，看完報紙，然後等到要出發的時候。 I am playing second match after seven and so that you know I am leaving the hotel to the tournament at 3.45 pm. This way I have plenty of time to get there, get ready, warm up at 5.15 and then stay in the locker room waiting for the match. This would be a normal routine day that I play. It was a very late night yesterday. We got back to the hotel at almost 3am. You know after the match that started so late it takes time to do all the work post match. I remember I’ve played matches that ended later than yesterday but not too many. Once in Melbourne and probably yesterday were the two later matches I’ve finished. 我是在練習後回到飯店寫這個部落格。昨天比賽打得非常晚。我回到飯店已經將近凌晨三點。你們知道，在一場這麼晚開始的比賽過後，要花很多時間做完所有賽後工作。我記得我打過幾場比昨晚還晚結束的比賽，但沒有太多場。一次在墨爾本，也許昨天的比賽是我打過最晚結束的前兩名。 I don’t think that starting so late is convenient since no one is really fired up. The crowds have to leave since they have to work the day after, people to to sleep and they also don’t watch on TV. It is a no winner situation. Matches were long and clearly there is no control over that but… It is still tough f or everyone. 我不認為比賽這麼晚開始是方便的，沒有人真的喜歡。現場觀眾必須要離開，因為隔天還要工作，而收看電視轉播的人也必須去睡覺而沒看直播。在這種情況下，沒有人是贏家。雖然比賽時間很長是難以控制，但...對每個人來說仍舊是困難的。 Rafa ＃9 Thursday 9th September 2010 The key is to win when you are not at your best Rafael Nadal 關鍵是要贏球，即使你不是在最好狀態 Rafael Nadal Hello everyone, 大家好 Writing this post today obviously from my hotel room but just minutes away to going to the site for a big match tonight. Verdasco is playing at a great level here and it is always difficult to play another fellow countryman and a friend. He went through those tough moments at a tournament and managed to stay alive. We all go or have to go through those moments and the key is to manage to win even when things are more difficult. You can’t always play at your best and the rival, if he plays well can always beat you. That’s why it is so important to beat these moments and go through. 今天很顯然我是在飯店房間裡寫這個部落格，但幾分鐘之後我就要出發去球場，準備今晚的重要比賽。Verdasco在美網打出高水準，而且要跟另一個同胞好友對戰總是困難的。他通過了種種艱難的時刻，繼續向前挺進。我們都面對，或者是必須經歷那些時刻，而關鍵是要贏球，即使一切會越來越艱難。你無法一直都處於巔峰狀態，而且你的敵人如果打得很好就能擊敗你。那就是為何面對並戰勝難關會有多麼困難的原因。 So, easy and relax day today again at the hotel, just watched some youtube and a movie and got ready for tonight. 所以，今天就是在飯店放鬆休息，看了一些youtube影片跟一齣電影，然後為今晚做好準備 Thanks to all 謝謝你們。 Rafa ＃10 Sunday 12th September 2010 Reaching the deciding game has left me speechless Rafael Nadal 進入決賽已經讓我說不出話來 Rafael Nadal Hello everyone. 大家好 This is the day. I finally made it to the final of the US Open. Something I was really looking forward to. I am a bit speechless right now. Just looking forward for the match today. 終於等到這天。我終於成功打進美網決賽。我真的期待的事情。我現在有點說不出話來。就是期望今天的這場比賽。 I saw yesterday most of the match between Roger and Novak and they played at a very high level. 我昨天看了大部分Roger跟Novak的比賽，他們打出了高水準。 I am leaving shortly to the stadium where I am hitting at 10.30am. Quick warm-up and we hope it doesn't rain today. It would be a shame for everyone, players, fans, TV. 我很快要離開去球場，10:30am要練習。快速的熱身，而且希望今天不會下雨。下雨對每個人、對球員、對球迷跟收看電視的人都是糟糕的。 Tomorrow my last blog before I leave NY. The truth is that I should have sent it through yesterday but as I landed in Madrid I thought about writing it at my hotel room. But I was really tired. I couldn't sleep much in the airplane during the flight and as I landed I had a press conference and went straight to the hotel to bed ... Sorry about that. Then I went to see last night Real Madrid against Ajax and enjoyed coming down to the pitch and salute all fans. 這篇最後的部落格 1)對有些人來說來得有點晚，2) 對其他人來說則是驚喜。事實是我昨天就應該要寫了，當我抵達馬德里的時候，我在飯店房間就想要寫了，但我真的好累。我在飛機上睡不大著，當我下飛機之後，我有一場記者會，之後我就直接回飯店睡覺... 很抱歉。昨天我去看了皇家馬德里vs.阿賈克斯的比賽，並且享受進到場內向球迷們致意。 Well, I am back at home and wanted to take the chance to thank all of you who follow this blog.
