March 6, 2006 -- It is one of those individual matchups that turns an ordinary NBA game into a must-watch. Ron Artest, maybe the best defensive player in the NBA, facing off with one of the league's top scorers, Vince Carter. This type of challenge not only gets fans psyched up, but Carter is looking forward to it, as well. "Of course," Carter said. "Just because it is a challenge to see where I hold up as an offensive player. At the same time, I just want to win." Artest has made a huge difference in Sacramento's win-loss column. With Artest and his menacing defense, the Kings are 10-7. "They are playing much better team defense since he has been there," Frank said. Artest is averaging 17.1 as a King, but it is his defense that has made Sacramento better. "You just have to figure him out as he goes," Carter said. "He is a tough defender. You have to just attack. You just can't play with it. That is when his strength and size really becomes an advantage. You just have to be smart."
