He wasn't asked, but the point guard who turned the Nets fortunes a decade
ago has some advice for the guy who will fill that role and those hopes
starting Friday night in San Antonio.
Study hard.
"Avery has a system, but at the same time he’s going to let Deron be Deron
and be successful,’’ Jason Kidd said. "The big thing is he’s got a
playbook that he has to pick up, but he has some talented pieces around him.’
"The big thing is the offseason, and get comfortable and then go from there.’
