Tracy McGrady, one of the preps-to-pros pioneers in the NBA, marvels at the
ease with which LeBron James deals with all the scrutiny and hype surrounding
his rookie season.
But that said, McGrady doesn't feel that James should win the NBA's Rookie of
the Year award. Instead, McGrady said that if he had a vote, he'd cast it for
Denver small forward Carmelo Anthony.
"In my opinion it's got to be Carmelo," McGrady said. "I was watching him on
television playing the Lakers and he's just the better basketball player. Now,
LeBron is a better athlete. I'm not taking anything away from LeBron. But to
me Carmelo can score in many more ways."

之前看報導，Carter 也曾在金塊第一場對暴龍賽後
把 Melo 拉到一旁給予鼓勵跟建言
看來這些老前輩們都對於這位後生小輩愛護有加 :)
