SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre could be out 10-14 days with what has been diagnosed as a Grade 1 strain of the right calf muscle. Beltre underwent an MRI on Thursday. The exam showed no tear of the muscle or internal bleeding, only over-stretching of the muscle fiber. Grade 1 is considered a mild strain, but the Rangers, as they do with all Spring Training injuries, will be cautious in their approach. Beltre在周四照了MRI。沒甚麼大礙，只有肌肉拉傷(?)... Both are missing the Rangers' intrasquad games. Chris Davis and Brian Barden will play third base on Friday. Beltre has had occasional back issues in Spring Training but has never had a problem with his calf muscle. He has been on the disabled list just twice in the past nine years. Both times were in 2009 because of left shoulder surgery to remove bone surs and then a severely contused right testicle. He has played in at least 143 games in eight of the past nine seasons.
