Canadian youngsters and close friends Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger-Aliassime were battling it out in the first round on Tuesday (AEST). But with 19-year-old Shapovalov leading 7-5, 5-7, 4-1, disaster struck when 18-year-old Auger-Aliassime was forced to call it quits. 沙弟和快樂夥伴FAA在台灣時間今早交手，在第三盤沙弟領先時FAA退賽。 Auger-Aliassime had already had been visited by the tournament doctor during the third set, complaining that his heart was racing. In distressing scenes, Auger-Aliassime broke down in tears as he was forced to retire. 第三盤時FAA MTO請醫師入場，主述心跳很快，醫師用聽診器聽心音並初步處理後，FAA有回場上打了1~2局，後表示退賽。 He went around the net to inform Shapovalov what was going on and was greeted with a huge hug from his countryman. Auger-Aliassime wept in Shapovalov’s arms as the crowd erupted with applause at the incredible moment of sportsmanship. Shapovalov then sat with Auger-Aliassime and offered him some encouraging words. “We’ll be back and we’ll be playing the finals,” Shapovalov told his devastated friend. 如影片內容，FAA走向沙弟，兩個人抱成一團，FAA在沙弟的懷中大哭，後FAA坐回位子上，沙弟坐在他旁邊說了一些安慰的話，告訴他：「不用擔心，往後的日子我們還有很多機會可以回到這裡。（I told him don't worry cause we're gonna comeback here many times.）可以完成我們的比賽。」目前看到最多推特內文，包含聽到醫師與FAA的對話內容，應該是tachycardia（心搏過速）。但究竟是心理因素還是生理因素要看看美網或FAA的推特晚點會不會公布原因。劇烈運動、情緒激動、高熱環境、貧血等等都有可能會導致心搏過速，醫師當下的處置（深呼吸憋氣再吐氣）也符合該環境下心搏過速的臨時處置。 ※P.S. 狀況未明時沙弟有鼓勵FAA希望他能盡全力，加油。 https://i.imgur.com/MV89xFC.jpg
