This is a really tough question because Billy's match was way more then a tennis match and changed the life of little girls all over the world. If I had to pick one male player I would say Andy Roddick, first because I would love to kick his butt!!! second because he is a great personality and he would make the event a lot of fun and bring a lot of attention. 我得先說，Billy Jean King 是個很不可思議的先驅。這個問題真的很難答，因為 Billy 那場比賽的意義遠不只是一場網球賽，還改變了全世界小女孩的生活。如果我得選一個男球員，我會說 Andy Roddick ，首先…因為我想痛扁他！！！其次，因為他人很好啦，會讓比賽充滿樂趣也會吸引很多注意力。我在想阿，我知道妳喜歡唱歌、也唱的不賴，有沒有想過哪天也涉足那個領域呢？會不會有天看到妳的名字在某張專輯上？ I would definately love to try it. Unfortunately without practice it's tough to just go out and create an album. Although we have different careers, we have a lot of things in common. She has become a huge tennis fan and also taught me a lot about her side of the world. The cool thing is that we will support each other's careers in different ways.....she will come watch my matches and I will be first in line to see her movies when they come out. 一個共同的朋友說我們能處的來，聯繫過後，也成了真的好朋友。雖然我們有不同的職業，卻有很多共通點。她現在也成了網球迷，也讓我知道很多她世界的事情。很酷的是我們也會用不同的方式支持對方的職業…她會來看我的比賽，我也會在她電影上檔時第一個排隊支持。 Maria，不同運動員在比賽前會有不同的心理建設方式，妳自己是怎麼樣呢？ I usually have my headphones on throughout the whole waiting period before my match because player lounges and locker rooms get very noisy, so by the time you get on, you can already be exhausted. About 20 minutes before going on I do a good warm up, just to get the sweat and body going. Other then that I think of the great opportunity I will get when going on that court. 我通常在等比賽時一直戴著耳機，因為球員休息室常常都很吵，到該上場時，可能已經累壞了。開賽前約二十分鐘我會好好地熱身，就是流些汗讓身體動一下。此外，我會想著自己在場上會有的好機會。 Maria，妳明年還會來伊斯坦堡嗎？希望能再看到妳。 I had an amazing time in Istanbul this year but unfortunately it's too far ahead to tell if I will play there next year. When my career is over I can't wait to go there and explore a little bit more. 今年在那邊很棒，但現在要談明年會不會打還太遠了。但等不打球之後，還真迫不及待去那邊看更多。除了參賽以外有到過中國嗎？如果沒有，那會想去哪裡呢？ Apart from tournaments I have not been to China for vacation. I have always been amazed by their unique culture, but unfortuntely during tournaments, have not been able to visit much. Definately a destination to visit when I get the chance. 比賽之外沒去中國度假過。但一直都很訝於他們獨特的文化，可惜的是參賽時沒辦法逛太多地方。但有機會肯定會去玩。妳有怕什麼嗎？例如蛇之類的。 I can't stand all those really nasty looking animals...snakes, spiders, and those roaches that scare the heck out of you when they somehow get into your house! I think it's their movement and texture that freaks me out. Also not the biggest fan of dentists.....but who is!! 無法忍受所有樣子不酥湖的動物…蛇、蜘蛛、蟑螂…。還有也不怎麼愛牙醫…！有沒有可能哪天妳的房子上 MTV 名人住宅這節目啊？ We have been approached by that show but It's not something I'm very interested in doing because a house is like your private area. It would seem kind of wierd walking around my house and saying this is my so and so bed and my closet with so and so shoes. Both of my houses are so different, and yet represent my lifestyles. My mom and I have had an amazing time decorating both of them. 他們有接觸過，但我不太感興趣，因為房子就像是私人的空間。在我的房子四處走，介紹說這是我的這個那個，會很怪。我兩棟房子是很不一樣的，也都呈現我的生活形式。媽媽跟我花了很多心力來佈置。妳常去哪些網站逛？ I have a few....actually made a top ten list for the website the other day so stay tuned! 聖誕節時，妳喜歡去哪過呢？雪地還是比較溫暖的地方？ I really don't have a choice on where I spend Christmas because it usually is wherever I have to train...which is sometimes frustrating because Christmas is such a great holiday. I would love to spend it in a snowy destination....throwing snow balls around and wearing big coats. Oh and eating all the yummy food!!! I think it will be so different then a normal WTA tournament and I am looking forward to meeting all the other athletes. I think the tour has a few rules that need to be worked out, but overall I am really excited about it and I think it will be great for tennis. 還有些規則得再努力，但整體來說，我很興奮，這對網球對球迷來說都應該很棒。妳今年可能去打 Eastbourne 的比賽嗎？ I think the only chance of me playing Eastbourne is if I reach the finals of the French Open. I just don't like playing the week before a grand slam. 唯一可能打 Eastbourne 的機會，是我打進法網決賽。不然我不喜歡在大滿貫前一週參賽。有幫自己買個澳網奪冠禮物嗎？ Very sad, the only thing I bought was a first class ticket to Israel!!!! 唯一買的東西就是飛往以色列的頭等艙機票。 Maria, 妳第一次考駕照就過關嗎？ I did pass on the first try, I remember the hardest thing about my driving test was finding the time to make an appointment. 是第一次就過，但最難的其實是找時間去。妳最近一次看的電影是？ During tournaments I have movie night with my team and we watch tons of funny movies. During the Australian Open, we watched wedding crashers, that was so funny. On March 5th, I am going to the movie premier of 10,000 B.C. to support my friend Camilla who is in the movie. I am really looking forward to watching that movie 比賽期間都會跟團隊有電影夜。澳網時看了【婚禮傲客】，很好笑。三月五號時，我會去【史前一萬年】的首映，支持 Camilla。我很期待看到這部片。 (真是找到機會就幫忙宣傳。:p) 訪問時，最惱人的問題是？ There are so many, I enjoy when the real tennis writers who travel on the circuit ask good questions about the match I just played. I am not a big fan of the local tabloid journalists who don't care about tennis and just wants to know who I am dating or what restaurants I am eating at. 其實有很多。我喜歡那些真正的網球記者，會問剛剛比賽的好問題。但就不太喜歡當地的小報記者，他們常常都不在乎網球怎樣，只想知道我跟誰約會，在哪間餐廳吃飯。妳比賽之前通常會做什麼？ Before my matches I have a set routine. I warm-up with my coach, then I get something to eat and then I try to get away and just listen to music and relax, then about 30 minutes before the match I do some foot drills, get focused and get ready to fight for every point. 比賽前我有一套既定慣例。我跟教練熱身，之後會吃些東西，然後試著逃離，只是聽些音樂放輕鬆，比賽前三十分鐘會開始腳步訓練，開始專注準備好為每一球奮戰。 Monica Seles 幾週前退休了，妳有什麼感想呢？ Monica is a great champion, I have so much respect for her, I wish we had a chance to play each other at both of our prime's, I think that would have been an amazing match up. Monica 是偉大的冠軍，我很敬重她，很希望能在彼此的全盛時期交手，我想那會是很棒的對戰組合。妳覺得自己能贏得法網嗎？ YES!!! Maria, 妳會看自己的報導嗎？如果會，有沒有因此真的生氣過？ I don't read the press, but when they write something so crazy and so wrong, my friends will text me or call me and be like " you did what" and I have no idea what they are talking about. For example, there was a big story a few weeks ago that I am building a tennis academy in Vietnam and I was secretly in Vietnam looking at land. I have never been to Vietnam and I have no plans to build a tennis academy anywhere in the world. I don't how people can just make this stuff up.
