VALENCIA CF 2 - 0 REAL MURCIA
The King's Cup returned to Mestalla and fortune smiled to Valencia CF.
After four years of failures in the competition, the men of Rafa Benitez
managed to qualify for the eighth of finals, after defeating Real Murcia in
a boring match.Valencia CF began with enthusiasm, and fruit of the effort and
the good work, Xisco scored the first goal in the 12th minute. Nevertheless
this goal encouraged Murcia, who missed many opportunities and put the
valencian goal in danger during almost all the first time. In the resumption
, the che team imposed its greater quality, and sentenced the match in the
70th minute with a goal by Garrido.
