Yankee hitters (like Joe DiMaggio, Bobby Bonds and Dave Winfield) by
hitting a major league leading 48 home runs earning him his second MVP
award in three years. Rodriguez should continue to be one of the top
sluggers in the game as he looks to eclipse Aaron’s record sometime in
the 2012 season.
