* Every player says they work hard. Most do, to some degree. You know who
actually does? Alex Rodriguez. Say what you will about Slappy, but I've yet to
get to the clubhouse on the road without finding him there, dressed and ready
to work out. The Yankees had a 9:15 a.m. bus to the park on Wednesday in
Toronto. Rodriguez took a cab earlier and had hit in the cage before any of his
teammates had breakfast.
