今天早上的新聞........ 標題：A-ROD BRINGS HIS B-GAME October 4, 2006 -- Last night, Alex Rodriguez seemed like the kid at the party who showed up late and didn't make any impression. But at least he wasn't the kid who embarrassed himself by throwing up on himself. 昨晚，A ROD看起來像一個在PARTY中晚到並且沒讓人家留下任何深刻印象的小孩。但是，至少他沒有放棄他自己～～～～ The point is, A-Rod wasn't a liability in last night's playoff opener, going 1-for-4 in the Yankees' 8-4 victory over Detroit. He hadn't hit this low since he batted eighth on May 7, 1996, and he's been accustomed to batting higher for the last decade. With Giambi on first again with nobody out in the seventh, A-Rod lined out sharply to right. 五局時，大吉在一壘，A ROD可惜了被三振，雖然最後一球是邊邊角角的球。七局時大吉無人出局又攻佔一壘，A ROD又打了個強勁平飛球被接到（運氣不好狀況不錯喔～～） He is 4-for-31 in his last nine postseason games. He said he was "very happy" that he stung the ball thrice and didn't worry that more hits didn't fall in. "It's not a big deal," he said. "We won the game.
