re-sign Alex Rodriguez, the likely unanimous AL MVP who produced the most
mind-blowing offensive numbers of his already-stellar career with an ML-best
54 homers and 156 RBI. In addition to the Yankees, teams such as the Cubs and
Angels might be prepared to give Rodriguez the first $30-plus million annual
salary in baseball history.
