The New York Yankees firmly believe no other team will offer Alex Rodriguez the
money he is seeking, making New York the best fit for the two-time MVP. The
Yankees plan to offer A-Rod a contract extension on his current deal, and if he
turns it down, they're prepared to let him walk.
