Tonetto agrees Roma deal

Sampdoria’s versatile Max Tonetto will be wearing the Roma shirt in the 2006-07
season, insist reports this evening.
Tonetto has been in talks with the Giallorossi for some time ever since it becam
e clear that he wouldn’t be extending his Doria deal.
The wide midfielder, who can also play as a full-back, has joined the Stadio Oli
mpico outfit on a free transfer.
The former Lecce player is understood to have signed with Roma until 2008 in a d
eal which will see him net just under ￡1m a season before tax.
Tonetto will be officially unveiled as a capital player by the club at the start
of July.
