The deal had been up in the air after Real tried to direct the Brazilian towards Sevilla instead, but it seems this transfer saga is finally over. “I don’t know if it will become official in 24 or 48 hours, but I do know this move will be completed,” he told the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport.’ It is believed the two clubs reached an agreement over a ￡5.4m price-tag and a four-year contract for Cicinho worth ￡1.5m per season plus bonuses.
