The French international has become a key figure at the back for the Giallorossi since joining from Auxerre in 2004. In recent times, Milan have allegedly tried to lure Mexes away but there has never been any concrete bid. “I want to become Roma's Maldini,” Mexes said on French channel TF1. “It would be great to represent to Roma fans what Paolo does to Milan supporters. “I have had no contact with Milan.
