Roma Players Vucinic And Aquilani To Miss Siena Match
The two Giallorossi stars will not recover in time for this weekend's match,
while captain Totti should be available..
Roma suffered a 3-0 loss to Atalanta last week and will be looking to bounce
back when they host Siena at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday. However, they
will have to do so with a whole host of absences.
Alberto Aquilani and Mirko Vucinic continue to struggle with their respective
injuries and will not be available, but both are expected to be in the squad
for the Champions League match against Arsenal on Tuesday, according to ANSA.
Meanwhile, Simone Perrotta and Daniele De Rossi are both suspended, so coach
Luciano Spalletti may have some selection problems in midfield.
There is a small worry about captain Francesco Totti. He took a knock on the
ankle in training, but after receiving treatment, 'Er Pupone' was able to
finish the training session. He should be able to feature from the start
against the Robur.
It remains to be seen what kind of line-up the Giallorossi put out on
Saturday, as they may have one eye on their highly-anticipated clash in
London against Arsenal.
