After a fairly disappointing season that saw the Giallorossi miss out on a
Champions League spot, AS Roma may be forced to sell some of their star
players.
One of those mentioned in the press is midfielder Daniele De Rossi, who has
been constantly linked with a move to Inter over the past couple of seasons.
However, the Italian international is adamant he wants to stay with the
Giallorossi.
"I have sworn fidelity to Rome, the difference from some others is that I
will not change my stance," he explained to Tuttosport on Thursday.
"I am young and will get many offers. Inter wants me? You have to speak to
sporting directors about these things, my desire is to stay with Roma."
De Rossi is currently with the Azzurri in South Africa, preparing for the
Confederations Cup. He is expected to be in the starting XI when his side
take on the United States on June 15.
