The Pugliese have been tracking the likes of Sergio Almiron and Lorenzo Ariaudo from Juventus, Napoli’s Marcelo Zalayeta, as well as a trio of players from Roma in Mauro Esposito, Alessio Cerci and Marco Andreolli. The latter of the Giallorossi players is the latest addition to the club’s wish list, but he is also among the most likely to join the promoted outfit, according to the latest reports. Corriere dello Sport believes that the player, who has requested to be loaned out by Roma this season, is interested in a move to Bari. If it does go through, it would be the third loan stint in as many seasons for the 23-year-old, following his spells at Vicenza and Sassuolo. In addition, the reigning Serie B champions are said to be extremely close to signing Almiron from Juve, with an official announcement expected in the coming days.
