Roma Have Lost Too Many Young Players - Daniele Galloppa
The former Giallorossi youngster believes that he is an example of the
biggest flaw currently besetting Roma..
This summer alone, Roma released Pietro Pipolo and Brazilian midfielder
Filipe, while Marco D'Alessandro and Riccardo Brosco were among those who
were loaned out.
According to one of their former players, it is this policy of allowing
promising youngsters to slip through their fingers that has caused many of
the current problems at Roma.
"The situation now is the result of many mistakes made by the club, among
which is losing so many young players, including myself," Daniele Galloppa,
now of Parma, bemoaned in an interview with Radio Incontro.
"I felt betrayed by Roma, but I've put all that behind me and I am
concentrating on the present and the future. I was never taken into
consideration at Roma."
Two of Galloppa's former clubs take to the pitch this weekend, as Siena host
Roma at the Artemio Franchi. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old's current club,
Parma, travel to Inter.
