Napoli Fans Banned From Travelling To Roma Clash

Napoli fans will not be able to assist their side when they clash against
Roma next month after the Committee for Security at Sports Events in Italy
(CASMS) banned them from travelling to the Olimpico.
According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, the game, scheduled to take place on
October 4, has been classified by the authority as "high risk," and thus the
away section at the Olimpico will be closed to opposition fans.
Only supporters living in the region of Lazio will be allowed to attend.
The move comes following the violent scenes that were witnessed during this
clash last year.
Azzurri fans travelling from Naples caused damage to trains and buses as they
went on a Roman rampage on their way to the game.
Authorities are confident that scaling-back the presence of away tifosi will
suppress the chances of violence in and around the ground.
