Doni – 6: Called into action for the first time on 39 minutes, when he
pushed a Seedorf effort onto the post. Dived the right way for the penalty,
but just failed to get to it, and could do little as Pato skipped around him
for the second.
Cassetti – 5.5: Improved performance on what we have seen in recent weeks,
as he certainly looked a lot more focused on the job. However still not
enough to play at this level, with this club.
Mexes – 6: Has struggled against Pato in the past; however he managed to
completely nullify his impact in the first half. Stood tall throughout, but
lacked support on the night.
Burdisso – 5: His powerful header forward led to the opening goal by Menez,
however although harsh, he was at fault for giving away the penalty.
Riise – 5.5: Not able to push forward as often as he would have liked to,
due to the attacking threat of Abate in the first half, but held his own
nevertheless. Should have done better to prevent Pato from getting past him
so easily for the home side’s second goal.
Taddei – 5: The Brazilian winger seems to be well and truly past his best
now, as he had very little impact tonight, and was rarely seen in possession
of the ball. Replaced by Guberti midway through the second half.
De Rossi – 6.5: Wonderful solo effort on 23 minutes, after running a third
of the pitch and then striking with his left-foot, forcing Dida into making a
great save. Simply should have scored with just over 10 minutes remaining
though, as he blasted an effort over the bar from well inside the area.
Pizarro – 6.5: Polished performance as always by the Chilean midfielder, who
cleared an Inzaghi header off the line on 47 minutes.
Perrotta – 6: Solid showing from the world champion, however he lacked any
significant threat in attack. Tireless effort nonetheless.
Menez – 7.5: Coolly slotted home the first goal of the night, after pouncing
on a mistake by Thiago Silva after just three minutes of play. He was lively
and dangerous throughout, and it was his glorious through ball that set up
Vucinic for what should have been the second on 38 minutes.
Vucinic – 5: Squandered a glorious opportunity to double his side’s lead
prior to the interval, as his one on one effort on an acute angle was hit
straight at Dida. Was replaced with 20 minutes remaining by Okaka.
Substitutes
Guberti – 6: Decent cameo from the former Bari man, who provided great
delivery to his attacking team-mates.
Okaka – 6: Provided a threat as soon as he came on. Went close to scoring
with a header with a couple of minutes remaining.
Baptista – 5.5: Proved his physical strength yet again, but failed to have
any major impact.

Attitude & Milan’s Lucky Penalty Are The Reasons Why They Beat Us – Roma’s
Mexes
The Frenchman believes he knows what went wrong tonight…
Roma suffered their third defeat of the campaign earlier tonight, at the
hands of Milan by a 2-1 score line. The Giallorossi managed to open the
scoring after just three minutes of play through Jeremy Menez; however two
second half strikes to Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato proved to be the
difference.
The Lupi players were very disappointed with their overall performance on the
night, as explained by Philippe Mexes in a post-match interview.
“It was too bad for the second half, as there are times when things occur
that you just cannot do anything about,” Mexes stated to Sky.
“I agree however that people [referees] should be competent when making
decisions.
“Our only problem was our attitude, because we were in great shape. Without
the penalty, they would not have been able to score a goal tonight.”
The Giallorossi will be hoping to bounce back in the Europa League midweek,
when they travel to Craven Cottage to square off against Fulham.

Roma President Rosella Sensi Launches Scathing Attack On Referee Against Milan
The Giallorossi president feels that her team deserved to win...
Roma president Rosella Sensi has not left anything in the tank when
expressing her feelings about the refereeing in her side's most recent clash
against Milan at the San Siro stadium.
According to her, Roberto Rosetti committed too many errors when officiating
against the Giallorossi. A blatant penalty was missed by the experienced
referee, but an almost non-existent one was given to the Rossoneri.
"Even though he is an excellent international referee, Rosetti committed too
many errors tonight, she said to ForzaRoma.info.
"I am very upset about what occurred, as my players deserved to win. At San
Siro with Rosetti, we have already lost a Scudetto before.
"Tonight, the commentators had signalled a penalty not given to us, and a
practically non-existent spot-kick to Milan. This situation changed the match
completely."
Sensi was also outraged at the number of yellow cards handed out to players
on both sides, and the amount of stoppage time teams had to play out.
She continued, "I won't make any further comments on the number of yellow
cards handed out, or the amount of stoppage time.
"I expect and emphasise the amount of respect shown to Roma, and its
supporters."
The Lupi now travel to England to take on Fulham in the Europa League on
Thursday.
