Claudio Ranieri Dedicates Roma's Win Over Inter To Fans
Ranieri has dedicated the win to all of Roma's tifosi as he explains a fine
win over the league leaders...
Roma coach Claudio Ranieri has dedicated the 2-1 win over Inter to the red
and yellow half of the city and Lupi fans across the globe.
His side are now within one point of the league leaders following an epic
game at the Stadio Olimpico which blew the Scudetto door wide open.
"It was an important victory, but not for me, for the whole of Roma and all
our fans," he told Sky Sport Italia after the game.
The win has provided grist for the Scudetto mill, and it's all down to blood,
sweat and tears as Ranieri urges players to keep noses to the grindstone.
"We have made five months of sacrifices and hard work, and we have to get
better and continue like this," he added.
"We played a great Inter team and I compliment them, but I will also praise
my team who just never stopped working tonight.
"It was a nice game, very interesting. We played a beautiful 40 minutes with
great play. Inter showed themselves late in the second half.
"We remained focused and we were always in the game. The players are enjoying
great satisfaction, and the fans have been magnificent."
