Roma have lost their blind auction with Udinese over Marco Motta who heads back north. A €200,000 difference settled the issues at question over his co-ownership deal after neither club reached an agreement before Friday night's deadline. The deal went into a blind auction with both clubs putting their offers in an envelope. And Udinese won it after bidding €1.5 million to Roma's €1.3m to bag the other half of Motta's rights. The Lega Calcio confirmed the deal on their official website before both clubs made an announcement.
