Adriano claims he needs to work harder to achieve full fitness.
Roma striker Adriano admits he needs to lose more weight before he can return
to his lethal best on the pitch.
Adriano has floundered in his battle to get in shape, but has held out the
possibility of a happy ending to his struggles.
"I think that I still lack a little match fitness," he told Extra.
"I arrived in Rome and weighed 104kg [in reality it was 106kg] and now I
weigh 99.9kg [at Trigoria they say 102kg].
"I need to lose another couple of kilos to get in shape. Anyway, I am happy
and I will be better when my girlfriend Danielle arrives.
"She is resolving problems linked to our children's documents."
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Roma have questioned where Adriano is at with
his progress.
And the club are considering new ways to ensure he trims down.
