Thursday arrival for Lamela
Erik Lamela will touch down in Italy on Thursday to start pre-season training
with his new Roma teammates.
The Argentine youngster was signed earlier this summer from River Plate, but
he’s been unable to start his Giallorossi adventure.
Lamela, an attacking midfielder, has been back in South America competing in
the recent Under-20 World Cup.
Speculation suggests that Lamela won’t be used for the Week 1 trip to
Bologna, but he’ll be ready for the Week 2 home tie against Cagliari.
