A.S. Roma S.p.A. is pleased to announce that a contract extension has been
agreed with Mr. Bruno Conti, whose contract as youth academy director expired
on June 30, 2013. The new three-year deal will run from July 1, 2013 to June
30, 2016.
This is what CEO Italo Zanzi had to say: "We are very pleased that Bruno
Conti will continue his storied career with Roma. He is a true icon for the
club and has also made unique contributions - both as a player and manager.
We look forward to working together to achieve even greater results."
A.S. Roma youth academy director Bruno Conti said: "The bond that ties me to
this club is special and extending the relationship is a tremendous source of
joy for me. I’m extremely happy with the way discussions with sporting
director Walter Sabatini went. The decision to sign a three-year deal is
synonymous with the complete synergy we have and an indication that we wish
to continue with the current program, which we hope will help Roma and its
young players to achieve rewarding results."
