Stubbs and Raymond qualify for Doha Doha, 08 October 2010 Rennae Stubbs and Lisa Raymond have qualified for the doubles event at the season-ending WTA Championships in Doha. The Australian-American duo join Gisela Dulko/Flavia Pennetta, Kveta Peschke/Katarina Srebotnik and Vania King/Yaroslava Shvedova to compete for a share of the $4.5 million in prize money. This season, the pair also reached the finals at San Diego and Cincinnati, the semifinals at the Australian Open and the quarterfinals at Wimbledon and the US Open. As a team, they have qualified for the year-end WTA Championships six times and won the title together in 2001. Remarkably, Stubbs is headed to the Championships for the 15th time, having first qualified in 1992. In addition to winning in 2001, she was a finalist in 2004 (w. Black) and in 2008 (w. Peschke).
