Ranking Watch: Season Summary November 08, 2010 One has to look no further than the top spot for evidence of what a difference a year makes on the WTA rankings. At the end of 2009, Caroline Wozniacki was still a teenager, and though she had opened lots of eyes with her run to the US Open final en route to finishing the season ranked No.4,few could have pred- icted she would rule the rankings at the end of 2010 after capturing a WTA-best six titles. There were four teens in 2009's season-ending Top 50 - then 19-year-old Wozniacki at No.4, 18-year-old Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova at No.41, 19-year-old Sorana Cirstea at No.46 and 18-year-old Melanie Oudin at No.49.
