Albert Pujols' individual achievements Monday didn't end with his moving past
Ray Lankford as the Cardinals' third-leading home run hitter.

issues, Pujols' first half compares well to his '05 MVP run. He began Tuesday
hitting .323 with 28 home runs, 73 RBIs and 59 runs scored and a .728
slugging percentage. He hit .342 with 21 home runs, 66 RBIs, 66 runs scored
and a .604 slugging percentage at the same juncture last season
