Albert Pujols: (Foot) Returns To First Base Thursday

Update: Pujols (foot) is back in the lineup at first base Thursday against
the Mariners, Angels TV broadcaster Victor Rojas reports.
Recommendation: A bout with plantar fasciitis had relegated Pujols to
designated hitting duty for the previous seven games, so his return to the
infield seems to suggest the foot issue has improved. Going forward, the
Angels figure to alternate him between first base and DH to reduce the
chances of the plantar fasciitis cropping up again. Either way, he should get
the at-bats he needs to remain among the elite tier of first basemen.
